And so to the main course...
Seafood has to be the order of the day. You could go down the 'messy' route here - think prawns dipped into a home-made wobbly lemon mayonnaise - or you could go down the more sophisticated route of something on a plate...
I think the real star of the shellfish world is the scallop. Sweet, juicy, caremelised around the edges... perfect served with something sharp (sherry vinegar here) and something salty (Iberico ham).

To drink? The folks at Matching Food & Wine recomend a white Burgundy - and who am I to differ?
