UKTV Food: Market Kitchen

posted Monday, 16 April 2007

Market Kitchen
UKTV Food's new flagship programme airs tonight for the first time at 8pm.  I was lucky enough to take part in a day's filming last week - the main body of the show comes from a cafe-style environment and features a couple of presenters and a professional chef, as well as a number of guests.  Another section comes from Borough Market, featuring fresh and seasonal produce.

The show looks to be good fun - it was certainly fun to make!

Watch out for me on Thursday/Friday next week (26-27th) - particularly Friday evening's show where I'll be preparing and cooking squid (with mixed results!) as part of the 'masterclass' section of the programme.

Good luck to the presenters (I was on with Tom Parker-Bowles and Matthew Fort) and all at UKTV Food!
