Was it Britain's Best Dish? You'll never know...

posted Monday, 4 June 2007

Sadly, further to my post of the other day, I'm no longer taking part in ITV's Britain's Best Dish this year.  Filming of the first round coincides with our family holiday and neither can be moved.

I'm gutted, of course, but hey-ho, that's life.

Good luck to all the competitors and to ITV for what looks to be a great series.  Let's hope they run it again next year and give me another chance!

...could you spill what your dish might have been? Or are you holding on to it in hopes of trying out T.V. again? :) -jac

writerjax - I might get round to posting about it - though I'm thinking about some changes to the dish anyway... I'll let you know!

mark - thanks for coming by. Not sure when the series starts - at a guess, I'd say September, but should I get any more info, I'll post it

I got through to Britains Best Dish too! I wnet to London last week for the first round....won my heat.... but unfortunately didnt get picked to go through to the regional final, I was told I just got beated by a spotted dick!! The way the worked it was that 12 contestants got through over 4 days but only 6 could go through to the Friday final....never mind it was great fun but i have to admit to being slightly gutted!! x Shame you didn't go any further, maybe it's next time for us both x
